- Subsurface Data Visualization in GISArcGIS software provides visualization tools well beyond in the spatial dimension. As our organization needed a way to visualize subsurface data, we developed various methods of graphing and displaying visual and analytical data within GIS from a subsurface viewpoint, including boring logs and cross-sections. As a database software, GIS is also capable of running these processes for many locations simultaneously, producing batched outputs via map series (in ArcPro) or Data Driven Pages (in ArcMap).

- Simultaneous Analysis of Multidisciplinary Data in the Development of CSM’sGroundwater contamination is a major issue affecting all sectors of life. To better understand and approach this issue, groundwater contaminant migration conceptual site models are developed. These models are designed to identify the contaminant, characterize migration pathways and provide recommendations to optimize remediation efforts. Using ESRI GIS software and a multidisciplinary integration of geospatial tools and information, breakthroughs in the understanding of groundwater contamination migration has occurred.
