    Denver International is now at the forefront of Aviation GIS as well as BIM, and through long term partnerships with Esri, Autodesk, and consultants like HNTB, we are bringing legacy systems and data into modern, better connected GIS applications. After almost 10 years of implementing standards, DEN is experiencing the benefits of that leadership vision, and the implementation success by the DEN staff and partners. This presentation will discuss the challenges DEN faced over the past two years and share some of the exciting ways Esri solutions have digitally transformed our GIS Enterprise.

  • Leveraging LIDAR and GIS for Smarter Asset Management
    The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) intends to use LiDAR to capture indoor spaces in an airport to improve workflow efficiency, shorten the time from construction completion to GIS data availability, and enhance asset management and work order processes. Generating accurate 3D models of complex environments such as terminals, concourses, and baggage handling areas, reduces the time and labor needed for traditional surveys. Incorporating detailed LiDAR data into the Esri ArcGIS platform, MAC gains a powerful tool for real-time spatial analysis, asset tracking, and maintenance management.
