This user group meeting will bring together practitioners, data providers, and technology developers to explore the evolving spatial data needs for assessing biodiversity risk and value in business and conservation applications. The session will provide a brief overview of key biodiversity data resources — including those from NatureServe and other providers — and highlight how these datasets can inform operational risk assessments, regulatory reporting, and conservation targeting. We will invite participants to share their current challenges and needs related to biodiversity spatial data and discuss how these insights can guide the development of new tools. As part of the session, we will present NatureServe’s new biodiversity reporting product, InSite, designed in collaboration with Esri partner GeoMarvel, and gather user feedback to help shape Phase II enhancements. Participants will include forestry organizations, conservation groups, and technology partners working at the intersection of spatial data and biodiversity decision-making.
